The Lexicon and Poetic Language of Nali in the perspective of Kurdish Scholars

This study examines the lexicon and Poetic Language of Nali within the context of Kurdish scholarship. It is an attempt to explore the relationship between lexicography and poetry in general, and Nali’s poetry in particular. The intricate and dense language characteristic of Nali’s poetry, as the founder and pioneer of classical Kurdish school (Southern Kurmanji)-necessitates a deep analytical engagement with his text ; this significance motivated the selection of this research topic.
Despite existing scholarship on Nali’s poetry, there remains a vast dimension of his language and poetic lexion that has not yet been fully explored. The aim of this study is to reveal and uncover some general and specific aspects of Kurdish lexicographical history and the interplay between vocabulary and poetic expression. To achieve this, the study employs a descriptive – analytical method.
A key objective of this research is to address whether Nali’s poetic word endowed Kurdish. Intellectualism with a specific lexical repertoire, and to determine his role in the evolution of Kudish poetic language.furthermore, it investigates the extent to which Nali’s poetic influence is reflected in the works of subsequent poets. This research begins with a summary in three languages (Kurdish, Arabic, English). In addition to the introduction and list of sources, it consists of two main parts. In the second topic we have referred to the history of our Kurdish culture, and in the third topic we have presented the relationship between culture and poetry. In the second part, we have discussed the culture and language of Nali's poetry in a practical way. The part is divided into three topics:In the first topic, he discusses Nali's poetry in his book Dictionary of Nali by Marf Khaznadar. In the second topic, he discusses Nali's poetry in his book Dictionary of Classical Poets.
In the third topic, he explained the cultural role of Nali's poetry in the development of Kurdish culture.
