Media is considered one of the most important issues that preoccupy modern societies, as it is an important tool in promoting social peace, especially in light of the challenges facing many countries. Media is one of the most important means of clearly influencing individuals and society, given the technological developments witnessed by the world over the past two decades. Media uses positive means to achieve social peace, peaceful coexistence, and promote the values of tolerance in Iraqi society. A country with a strong media is considered strong and capable, as the media plays many social roles that are greatly concerned with the existence and stability of society. The media also plays an effective role in conveying important events and issues, meeting human needs and understanding the surrounding environment, and covering events with impartiality, accuracy, and credibility. The media is respected by the public. Media also plays a role in raising awareness and shaping individual attitudes and orientations, preserving society and all its familial, family, and social institutions.
