This research examines the use of the Interactive Whiteboard (TWB) as an innovative educational tool in secondary and university education, focusing on its benefits teaching challenges. The research problem lies in the ineffective integration of TWBs into classrooms and the lack of a comprehensive theoretical framework in existing literature to guide their use, document their potential benefits, and address challenges in these education contexts. The research adopts a rigorous methodological approach, including a systematic review of 24 selected studies from databases such as Scopus, Springer, and Google Scholar, public between 2020 and 2024, in addition to field visits and interviews in Diyala schools and universities. The results reveal that TWBs significantly enhance student academic achievement improve understanding of complex concepts, increase interaction and motivation, and develop teachers skills in designing interactive lessons. However, several challenges hinder their effective use, including a lack of training and technical support, insufficient educational resources, technical difficulties, and training and internet access. The research concludes that TWB represent a valuable tool for enriching the educational process, but maximizing their potter comprehensive teacher training, and continuous technical support to ensure their successful integration into educational environments.
The interactive whiteboard represents an innovative educational tool with significant potential to improve the educational process in both secondary and university education. A review of literature and field visits to schools and universities in Diyala Governorate revealed that this technology effectively contributes to increasing students' academic achievement, enhancing their engagement and motivation to learn, and improving teachers' skills in delivering educational content interactively and engagingly. Despite its numerous advantages, the adoption and use of the interactive whiteboard faces challenges related to a lack of training, weak infrastructure, and the absence of continuous technical support.
