Academic identity patterns among kindergarten students in Kurdistan Regional University

Abstract

  The aimof the study is to determine the level of academic identity patterns among kindergarten students and, statistically significant differences in academic identity patterns according to variables (stage of education, place of residence, universities) among kindergarten students/universities in the Kurdistan Region. Descriptive analytical method was used and the research population consisted of (500) female students for grades (first-fourth), randomly selected in class and data analysis was based on statistical database for educational and psychological sciences (SPSS). Academic identity is based on the level of education among students in the kindergarten department of Kurdistan Regional University. The highest rank in the dimension of academic identity is achieved because the proportion of students is in the middle rank The academic identity is at a low level because academic education in universities is only for relationships with the opposite sex. There is a significant difference between the first and fourth stages of academic identity in Kurdistan universities There is no difference between the dimensions of academic identity in the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) universities, followed by Erbil University, followed by Kalar, Halabja, Sulaimani and Raperin The variable, which refers to differences by stage and place of residence in universities, is directly related to each other, and there are significant differences in the measure of academic identity according to the overall sample of research that varies between universities and according to dimensions of academic identity.
