Sino-US global competition: a study of the impact of smart military technology

This research examines the escalating strategic competition between the United States and the People's Republic of China in the field of smart military technology, which has become a central axis in contemporary international relations. The study aims to analyze the impact of this competition on global strategic balance, focusing on military artificial intelligence, autonomous defense systems, and cyber warfare technologies,The study employs a comparative analytical approach to examine the strategies of both superpowers in developing and deploying advanced military technology, and its effect on the structure of the international system. The findings reveal a genuine technological race between the two countries, with both investing billions of dollars in military research and development, fundamentally reshaping the nature of modern conflict and posing new challenges to regional and international security and stability,The research explores how this technological rivalry influences alliance structures, arms control regimes, and the proliferation of advanced weapons systems to secondary actors. Furthermore, it examines the implications for smaller nations caught between these competing technological paradigms and the broader consequences for global governance and international law in the digital age.
