his research aims to identify the nature of the TikTok platform and its effectiveness in raising awareness among different segments of society regarding volunteer participation. This is achieved by analyzing individuals' attitudes towards the platform using a survey methodology, which studies the phenomenon quantitatively and aims to collect data from a representative sample of the study population. To achieve the research objectives, a questionnaire was developed, containing a set of questions covering the main study themes. The questionnaire was administered to a random sample of 500 individuals from the research population. The research yielded several results, including: the TikTok platform facilitates the breaking down of barriers for associations and organizations to engage in volunteer work, providing easy access to the public and fostering interaction. This, in turn, helps young people to participate and channel their energies into positive volunteer initiatives that serve the community. Descriptive research is a methodology that focuses on studying reality as it is, by presenting phenomena, events, and situations in an objective manner that reflects their current reality. This type of research is not limited to mere description, but extends to include analysis and interpretation in order to reach results that contribute to the development of reality or enrich knowledge in the scientific field in which the research falls. This study derives its significance from its focus on the TikTok platform—now one of the most influential media channels among youth—by examining the effectiveness of its content in shaping young people's awareness and attitudes regarding various volunteer-related issues. Furthermore, the study highlights the role digital platforms can play in fostering positive awareness and provides content creators and media organizations with insights to help them produce purposeful content, thereby contributing to the development of a generation that is more conscious and responsible toward both themselves and their community.
