The research titled (The Wisdom and Charms of Wealth in the Holy Qur’an) deals with the subject of material wealth and the Qur’anic meanings of wealth as mentioned in the Qur’anic text, and explaining its impact on the behavior of the human being, both the believer and the unbeliever, and clarifying that material wealth is not measured by the amount of money, or the blessings a person possesses, but rather is evaluated by how he uses it for the sake of God and achieves goodness and benefit for others.
The various types of wealth were analyzed, including: wealth related to money, food and drink, property and power, and the divine wisdom of preferring one type over another was clarified.
The research reviews the effects of wealth among believers, such as doubling the reward and compensation, achieving forgiveness from God, and its connection to justice and equality in society, as well as the effects of material wealth among unbelievers, as wealth turns into temptation that pushes its owner to arrogance, tyranny, and injustice, as is the case in the stories of Pharaoh and Qarun.
The research concludes that material wealth carries an educational and moral dimension, as it is a means to goodness and righteousness if it is directed properly and in the right path. On the other hand, it is a trial and a trial when it is misspent and used in unlawful ways. The Holy Qur’an has provided instructions and directives to man about how to employ wealth in a way that pleases God and brings benefit and goodness to its owner and to the members of his community, and thus achieves spiritual and social stability in society.
