The Impact of Using the Cooperative Learning Strategy in Teaching Art Education on Achievement and the Development of Creative Skills Among Students of the Institute of Fine Arts

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of cooperative learning strategies on academic achievement and the development of creative skills among students at the Institute of Fine Arts. To achieve this, an experimental research design was adopted, where a sample of 50 students was divided into a trial group exposed to cooperative learning and a control group taught using traditional methods.

The study utilized an achievement test and a creativity skills assessment questionnaire administered before and after the experiment. Data were analyzed using statistical tests (T-Test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient) via SPSS software.

The results indicated that students who participated in cooperative learning showed significant improvement in both academic performance and creative skills compared to the control group. Statistical analyses confirmed a strong positive correlation between academic achievement and artistic creativity.

The study recommends integrating cooperative learning as an effective teaching method in fine arts institutes, as it has a positive impact on enhancing academic performance and fostering artistic innovation among students.
