Grammatical guidance rules in the explanations of the book of Sibawayh

Abstract

The rules of guidance mean: the methodological controls that grammarians have established to adhere to in the linguistic material, whether it is heard, istishab, or qiyas, which are used to derive the ruling. Therefore, the rules of morphological guidance mean the methodological controls that morphologists have established to adhere to when looking at the structure of the word in order to derive the ruling. Since they established the science of Arabic morphology, morphologists have been keen to establish the controls and foundations that regulate their morphological directions and justifications in a way that makes their rulings and opinions consistent and harmonious as much as possible with the system of Arabic. Hence, these rules prevailed and became standards for their ideas and criteria for their rulings                                                                             .And their opinions that they come up with in relation to the issues, and the examiner of Arabic books finds that there are rules of guidance, and grammatical or morphological rules, or what are called laws, and accordingly it is necessary to define between the two terms, and if we want to define them, we must differentiate between the rule and the rule; the rule is more general than the rule; because it includes branches from different chapters, while the rules are concerned with gathering the branches of one chapter, so the rules of morphological guidance are concerned with studying the common rules that cover various chapters of morphology, while the morphological rules are intended to study the rules that are specific to each chapter of morphology separately.
