Abstract

The science of Arabic morphology is essentially the science of studying the forms and weights of Arabic words. These forms, which represent the standards of the structures of Arabic words, are not merely formal surface structures, but at the same time they express connotations and meanings that this form conveys. This research is entitled (The connotation of morphological forms on meanings other than their original meanings in the Holy Qur’an) ، He deals with these meanings that are conveyed by morphological forms, dividing them into two parts: the first is the original meanings that the morphologists stated that the morphological form was created for, and the second is the meaning that the morphological form indicates through the context, which is contrary to its original meaning. To discuss this issue, he defines broadcasting by morphological form، It deals with a theoretical aspect of morphological semantics in the books of morphologists, and another applied aspect through the study of some models in which the morphological form indicated something other than its original meaning in some verses of the Holy Qur’an, through the study of the statements of the interpreters on the meaning of the morphological forms in these verses. The researcher relies on the descriptive analytical method, which is based on identifying the characteristics of the phenomenon, describing its nature, the quality of the relationship between its variables, its causes and trends, and so on, which revolve around exploring the depths of a particular problem or phenomenon, and identifying its reality on the ground. Some researchers consider that the descriptive method includes all other methods, except for the historical and experimental methods, as the process of describing and analyzing phenomena is almost a common issue and is present in all types of scientific research. The descriptive method relies on interpreting the existing situation, that is, what exists, and identifying the conditions and relationships that exist between the variables.
