This study focuses on the Mahmoud Qasaboglu, is an important poet who reflects the history, belifes and lifestyle of the Turkmen people. regional themes in the poems of Mahmoud Qasaboglu. Mahmoud Qasaboglu places great importance on Turkmen culture and regional elements in his poetry. In the poem "The Turkmen National Anthem," in particular, he highlights the historical identity of the Turkmen, their traditions, and their heroic epics. The language and imagery used in this poem deeply affect readers and reference the shared past and cultural heritage of the Turkmen in Iraq. The poem addresses national themes such as the Turkmen's passion for freedom, the influences of their urban lifestyle, the spirit of unity and solidarity, and their close connection to nature and homeland.
The rhythmic structure and powerful imagery of the anthem glorify the national identity of the Turkmen people, portraying a clear message about preserving and protecting their historical values. In this poem, Qasaboglu encourages the Turkmen people to safeguard their history, stand in solidarity, and protect their cultural values. For this reason, "This Turkmen Poem" has become a symbol of social bonds and national identity more than just a litera.
