Abstract

This Paper Discusses The Important Role That Culture Plays In The Promotion And Development Of The National Tourism Sector In Kurdistan, After Reviewing The Common Relationships Between Them And The Dialectics Of The Two On Top Of Each Other.

There Is No Doubt That Culture Is An Effective And Fundamental Factor In Attracting Tourists, Because Of The Heritage, Art, Customs And Traditions That Bag Of Information Has And Carries, Reflecting The Identity And History Of Kurdistan.

The Purpose Of This Study Is To: To Illustrate The Impact Of Culture On National Tourism Development. The Highlight The Role Of Cultural Heritage In Improving The Image Of Tourist Destinations.

The Study Relies On Descriptive Method Of Analysis, By Analyzing Data And Information About Global And Regional Experiences In Integrating Culture With Tourism, This Is In Addition To Bringing In Previous Studies Conducted In Some Countries That Have Been Conducted In This Area And Describe The Success Of This Topic.

This Study Seeks To Answer The Questions:-

1- Culture As A Tourist Destination: How Many Cultural Events, Such As Festivals And Art Exhibitions Play A Role In Attracting Domestic And International Tourists?

2- How Much Cultural Heritage Contributes To The Preservation Of National Identity, Along With Achieving Sustainable Tourism Development?

3- How Much Cultural Diversity Acts As An Attractive Tourism Resource?

4- To What Extent Do Digital Media and Social Media Platforms Contribute To the Spread of Kurdish Culture and Attract Tourists to Cultural Sites?  Lastly, This Paper Seeks To Highlight That The Integration Of Culture Into Tourism Through Investment In Heritage And The Arts, Has A Role To Play In Improving Tourism Infrastructure For Access To Cultural Sites.

In Addition, Supporting Cultural And Creative Industries As A Complement To The Tourism Sector. Strengthen Cooperation Between Government Agencies And The Private Sector To Organize Cultural Events And Cultural Sites That Attract Tourists.
