Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of workplace spirituality, represented by the dimensions of purposeful work, sense of belonging to the group, and alignment with organizational values, on organizational excellence, represented by the dimensions of strategic planning, market focus, and operations, in universities in Sulaimaniyah Governorate. Researchers used a probability sampling method to collect data via a Google questionnaire (number of participants = 115) using SPSS version 26. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to calculate frequencies and percentages for demographic questions. Spearman's rank correlation coefficient and regression analysis were used to demonstrate the correlation and impact of workplace spirituality on organizational coordination. A statistically significant positive correlation was found between workplace spirituality and organizational coordination. Furthermore, the results show a statistically significant impact of each of the three dimensions of workplace spirituality (meaningful work, sense of community, and alignment with organizational values) on each of the dimensions of organizational coordination (strategic planning, market focus, and operations). The research contributes theoretically by integrating workplace spirituality, innovation management, and organizational coordination into a unified analytical framework, and practically by providing insights for university leaders and decision-makers seeking to improve coordination and innovation performance through spiritual and human-centered management approaches.
