Women in the Holy Quran and the problem of their condemnation in Nahj al-Balagha

Abstract

This research focused on the verses mentioned in the Holy Quran to show the status and value of women, and the problems raised by the Orientalists regarding Imam Ali’s (peace be upon him) condemnation of women in Nahj al-Balagha. These problems were refuted and will become clear through the research. It is worth mentioning that divine care included man when it made him the best of creation, and subjected the sun and the moon to him. This dignity is not limited to mention only, but rather it included all of Adam’s children. For the sake of this general dignity, He madeThe sanctity of the female soul is like the sanctity of the male soul, and the killing of one of them is equivalent to the killing of all of them. The killing of a woman is equal before God as the killing of a man. Whoever kills one of them is as if he killed all of humanity. Is there any honour greater than that conceivable? What expresses that Islam views the two halves with a single view is that it takes the soul as the subject of some of its rulings in the field of retaliation without focusing on the male Both males and females are complete human beings and there is no deficiency in the humanity of females. The Messenger (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace) even puts the blood of Muslims on one scale and describes the responsibility of all as one responsibility.
