The interest in the environment and preserving its safety appeared clearly in Egypt, through the interest of the Fatimid caliphs, princes, and rulers and the extent of their keenness to preserve the environmental reality, and this is what we saw in many historical sources that dealt with the Fatimid era, including the Hisbah books, through the texts they included that emphasized care for the aspect. Health and environment, and the cases it observed that occurred during that period of actions that harm the environment and health.

The research was divided into two sections, preceded by an introduction and followed by a conclusion. The first section deals with the role of the Fatimid caliphs in improving the health aspect, which included caring for doctors and establishing bimaristans. The role of science and knowledge. The second section included the role of the Fatimid caliphs in serving the healthy environment in Egypt during the Fatimid era: which included taking care of the natural environment in the health of society and the environment in Egypt, paying attention to orchards, parks, and gardens, and the role of the Hisbah in caring for the environment.
