Abstract

sadness represents  One of the most prominent topics,whether in the Iraqi prose poem or in poetry in general, as it reflects the political, social and psychological reality of Iraqi society.  It is related to the experiences of life from war, loss and alienation, and existential crises that Iraqi poets went through by emplo…poetic images, and poets of prose poem were able to express deep feelings of sadness away from traditional molds.  The prose acquires its form and its poetic presence from the structure of the sentence and the construction of the paragraph that makes the reader continues to read until the end. It was found that Saadi Yusuf about political sadness and alienation as a common factor and made the cause of sadness is alienation and exile.

The prose poem gains its form and poetic presence from the sentence structure and paragraph construction that keep the reader reading until the end. Sadness in modern Iraqi literature is more than just a passing feeling; it is an expression of a national and collective identity, a critical tool, and an artistic aesthetic all at once. It is the voice of the past, present, and future that still carries echoes of suffering and challenge. Saadi Youssef demonstrated that political sadness and alienation are a common factor between them, and he made the cause of sadness alienation and exile.
