The equivalent terms for salvation and deliverance in the Holy Quran and the Old and New Testaments A comparative study

Abstract

In this research  the  concepts  of the farmer in the Holy Quran and salvation in the two testaments were presented, focusing on the connotations of salvation from the Holy Quran and the Holy Books and how this concept is embodied in different religious contexts.

In the Old Testament, salvation was mainly linked to the physical liberation of the Israelites from slavery and tribulations   they were freed from the slavery of Egypt, and God's intervention in wars and battles against enemies. Salvation was achieved through direct divine intervention through miracles and divine works.

 In the New Testament, the concept of salvation was transformed into spiritual salvation from sin and eternal death through faith in Jesus Christ, the Savior who redeemed humanity through His death and resurrection. Salvation in the New Testament depended on faith in Jesus as a means of deliverance from sin.

In the Qur'an, salvation is associated with piety and obedience to God, and the farmer (ultimate success) is considered to be achieved through faith and good deeds. Salvation in the Qur'an is achieved through repentance and return to God, emphasizing that salvation is from delusion and sin.

The first requirement: the words close to the farmer in the Holy Quran

What is meant by this section is to collect words similar to the word farmer including the meanings shared with him, through the Quranic context and the conclusion of the results related to that and the words approaching the farmer are (winning, salvation and victory victory) and I will address each of them and show its meaning and significance in the Quranic context.
