Abstract

Abstract:

Shu’bah ibn al-Hajjaj wanted to present an image of Ali ibn Abi Talib, by reviewing his raids in the fateful battles of jihad and his decisive positions in those battles, which made him a great hero, a brave fighter who was jealous for Islam and Muslims and for the bearer of the message, and that he was that soldier who refused to obey anything but God and His Messenger. With these characteristics, Ali ibn Abi Talib

witnessed all the conquests and battles of the Messenger except.

The Battle of Tabuk, during which the Prophet Muhammad left him in charge of Medina.

The research consists of an introduction in which I mentioned Ali bin Abi Talib as one of the unforgettable men of Islam and two chapters. The first: dealt with the biography of Shu’bah bin Al-Hajjaj, including his name, nickname, birth, upbringing, education, scientific status, and finally his death. As for the second chapter, I dealt with the military role of Ali bin Abi Talib in stages of his life, namely the Battle of Badr, then Uhud, the Battle of Banu Nadir, the Battle of the Trench, the Battle of Banu Qurayzah, the Day of Hunayn, and the Battle of Dhat Al-Salasil. These stages revealed that Ali bin Abi Talib was a man of difficult missions, a conqueror and annihilator of enemies, and Ali had decisive positions in the history of the message. In addition to that, these stages embodied the presence of Ali bin Abi Talib in the civil stage of the life of the Islamic message, a clear and evident presence that has influential implications not only in the past and the present, but even in the future. No one can deny that Islam is two halves, the other half of which is Ali bin Abi Talib. Then the conclusion included the most important results of the  research. Then we discussed the footnotes and the list of sources and references.
