The Holy Qur’an pays great attention to the family, as it is the foundation for building an Islamic society on the right path, and from it begins the first relationship, which is the marital relationship upon which God created our master Adam and Eve, so that they could begin the process of building from it.
The Importance of the research is highlighted through: knowing the role of the Holy Qur’an in building society by building a healthy family, and knowing the role of the Holy Qur’an in how to maintain and empower family relationships.
The research method is the descriptive and inductive method that searches for family verses in the Holy Qur’an, analyzes and interprets them.
The nature of the research required that it include an introduction, three sections, and a conclusion containing the most prominent results reached by the research.
Islam, both in the Book and the Sunnah, has given importance to the institution of the family as the central institution or system in society, which achieves all the goals of Islam in spreading, activating and implementing the doctrine of monotheism, the highest values and building a pious, pure, and healthy human being who is physically, mentally, psychologically, spiritually and behaviourally sound. The family is of two types: the small family, which includes marital relationships, and the relationship between children and siblings. It may expand to form the large family, which includes relationships with relatives and kinship ties from the same family.
