Abstract

The relationship between humans and technology has become one of the most influential forces shaping contemporary identity. As the digital sphere expands, individuals increasingly experience a form of “internal exile,” where the screen shifts from being a mere tool to becoming a cultural environment that molds perception and behavior. This transformation is not limited to daily device usage; it extends to redefining concepts such as selfhood, privacy, and belonging. The digital community generates new patterns of interaction and unprecedented speed in information flow, while simultaneously deepening the gap between humans and their inner selves. It reshapes our sense of time, attention, and even the meaning of human presence. Amid this overwhelming flood of images and data, individuals must cultivate critical skills that enable them to navigate the virtual world without losing their real-world grounding. Studying this shift is not an intellectual luxury but a necessity for understanding future social, psychological, and cultural dynamics. Today’s world no longer operates under the binary of “real versus virtual,” but within a complete fusion that demands re-examining how we understand knowledge, identity, and the world around us.
