The research showed the importance of studying the audience's dependence on the conflict presented in the Iraqi satellite channels in Zagros and UT.V satellite channels, which has a significant impact on shaping digital public opinion. When these channels show heated discussions and conflicts between guests, they attract the attention of viewers and arouse their interest, which prompts them to interact and participate in discussions via the social media of the satellite channels.
Therefore, the study showed the importance of the conflict style, including verbal altercations in political talk shows presented by Iraqi satellite channels, especially in Zagros channels in the program (Clearly) and (UTV) channels in the program The Truth is Told.
The research problem was launched from the main question:
What is the conflict in political talk shows on satellite channels and what is its role in shaping digital public opinion among the audience?
As for the most important objectives of the research, they can be summarized as follows:
1- Investigating the audience's dependence on political talk shows on the two channels and their role in shaping digital public opinion.
2- Knowing the cognitive, emotional and behavioral effects resulting from the audience's reliance on the selected channels that adopt the conflict style in presenting political topics.
Therefore, this research sheds light on the great impact of the conflicts presented by Iraqi satellite channels, especially in Zakros and UTV channels, in shaping digital public opinion. The descriptive survey method was used to study the phenomenon of conflict in talk shows, as the characteristics, variables and relationships were revealed in terms of intensity and direction, and the sample programs were analyzed, in addition to the systematic comparison between the sample program.
As for the research community in the field study, it includes individuals who use social networking sites and interact with political talk shows with episodes of the programs (The Truth is Told and the Clearly Program), an available sample was chosen by chance by distributing the form to followers present in the live broadcast of the program, while the research tools included observation, questionnaire and scale.
The researcher recommends a number of recommendations, including:
1. Study the semiotics of communication in programs that contain conflict methods.
2. There should be specific goals for the program, such as raising awareness or providing accurate information, rather than focusing on conflict only.
3. A culture of respect should be promoted among participants, which contributes to creating a more positive dialogue environment.
