Abstract

The current research aims to know: The effect of teaching according to (logical rules for understanding concepts) in collection concepts and developing logical thinking among Preparatory  school students.

The researcher chose the fifth literary class to conduct the experiment because there are two divisions A and B. So, the sample of the  research after exclusion became (72) students. The first semester of the academic year 2023-2022, The researcher prepared an achievement test consisting of (50) items, and after applying the achievement test and the logical thinking scale, the researcher reached the conclusion that there is a statistically significant difference for the benefit of the students of the experimental group who studied History of Europe and America modern and contempora using the strategy (logical rules for understanding concepts) on the students of the control group who studied the same subject in the traditional way.

The researcher concluded the effect of using the strategy of (logical rules for understanding concepts) in developing logical thinking in natural geography for fifth preparatory students. He recommended  to emphasize of  using of this strategy in teaching geography because of its importance in developing logical thinking.
