The role of Sami Azara Al-Majoun as civil governor of Muthanna Governorate in 2003

For a long time، Iraqi universities have paid significant attention to studying the biographies of political figures due to their substantial role in uncovering the mysteries and truths about these individuals. This deepens the understanding of their administrative، political، and service-related contributions. This study continues the work of previous researchers in unveiling the political figures active in the Iraqi political scene and examining their biographies and impact in administrative and service fields. Sheikh Sami Azara Al-Ma’jun is among those who made significant contributions to Al-Muthanna Governorate through his service and administrative efforts، both as a civilian governor of Al-Muthanna and later as the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs ، in the Nasiriyah Conference of 2003 ، he was selected to serve as the Civil of Muthanna province . He managed to reorganize the province administratively، forming a new municipal council and initiating the reconstruction of the governorate building ، which had suffered from looting، theft ، and acts of vandalism. Additionally ، he embarked on numerous public service projects . He launched many job grades and contributed to providing job opportunities for many unemployed people. He contributed effectively to supporting the health sector and directed doctors and private pharmacies to provide medicines to patients at prices appropriate to the living conditions of the people of Muthanna. His clear impact was in supporting the education sector and the electricity sector in Muthanna Governorate. Despite the short period in which he assumed the management of Muthanna Governorate, he responded to many appeals launched by the people of Muthanna Governorate.References
