The study reached an important conclusion: journalism must be based on solid foundations and principles in order to provide reliable and objective media content. These foundations and principles are represented by a set of core values that must be present in all aspects of journalistic work The first of these values is accuracy in monitoring news and information. Journalists must verify the accuracy of the information they collect and confirm its sources before disseminating it to the public. This ensures that the news and information provided by the press are accurate and reliable and contributes to building public trust in journalism. The second of these values is accuracy in the timing of news and information dissemination. Journalists must choose the appropriate timing for disseminating news so as not to cause any harm or inconvenience to the public or those concerned. This requires journalists to be aware of the context in which they work and to consider the potential consequences of publishing news at a particular time. The third of these values is that journalism should not be biased toward one party or another. Journalists must be objective in their coverage of the news and present diverse perspectives on the issues raised. This ensures that journalism serves as a platform for public opinion and contributes to building constructive societal dialogue. Finally, journalism must be independent from any other entity. Journalists must be free to choose the topics they cover and the manner in which they present news and information. This ensures that journalism is able to fulfill its role in society and contribute to building a healthy media culture. By adhering to these values, journalism can provide reliable and objective media content and contribute to building public trust in journalism. Journalism can also play an important role in building constructive societal dialogue and contributing to promoting media literacy in society.References
