The research aims to clarify the Quranic readings of the Zahiris and their impact on jurisprudential guidance. The book “Al-Muhalla” was a model, as readings are considered one of the important topics and an important source of interpreting the verses of the Wise Remembrance Therefore, this topic was chosen to explain the Qur’anic readings according to the Zahiri school of thought, which is based on glorifying the texts, limiting oneself to them in reasoning, and rejecting all types of opinion, such as analogy, approval, and so on. The principles of reasoning according to the Zahiris were four: Texts of the Qur’an, Sunnah, and consensusIt became clear through presenting some of the differences in the Qur’anic readings that the readings have an effect on the multiplicity and breadth of meanings, and that the multiplicity of meanings in a single verse is one of the purposes of the differences in the Qur’anic readings, and these readings in which the meaning varies are all true. The research and study showed that there is a difference in the readings, which led to a difference in meaning. There are readings established by the Zahiri school of thought that support some readings, and there are readings that contradict others among the Zahiris. The jurisprudential rulings differed among the Zahiris regarding some verses and did not agree with the opinion of the majority or other schools of thought. The difference in the Quranic readings affected the multiplicity of meanings, and the multiplicity of meanings in one verse is one of the purposes of the difference in the Quranic readings. The Zahiri school of thought had readings, and these readings in which the meaning differs are all correct.References
