Abstract

Precautionary measures in the Penal Code are a set of legal measures imposed by the courts on anyone who is proven to have committed a serious crime and represents a danger to society. These measures aim to protect society, treat the criminal, and reduce the phenomenon of repetition and return to crimes. Precautionary measures are considered important preventive measures that must be applied with all seriousness to eliminate crime in society These precautionary measures represent the social reaction to the crime and the criminal, because committing a crime raises in society a feeling of instability and security, which creates the risk of its recurrence, and therefore it was necessary that they not be left without firm action taken against those responsible for committing it Precautionary measures in criminal law have a major role in confronting the criminal danger inherent in the personality of the criminal . Summarizing reading topics opened the way for students to reflect on the text they read, and then make comparisons between it and the ideas it contained. Classifying them into essential and non-essential ideas, and arranging them in a specific mental order facilitates the process of choosing the important ones and leaving the rest in the summarization process. The summarization strategy enriched students' culture with new ideas, words, and styles by reviewing and absorbing a group of prose texts, which means keeping them in mind and recalling them when writing on an expressive topic.
