Penal provisions for implementing controlled delivery of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances ((Comparative study))

Abstract

Organized crime has spread among the countries of the world, especially in the field of drug and psychotropic substance trafficking, which makes it difficult to arrest the perpetrators because they are distributed in several countries. The countries of the world have sought to follow a new method in combating organized crime according to the controlled delivery method, which means tracking the suspicious shipment loaded with narcotic substances or psychotropic substances and collecting evidence and information about it by the security services and tracking its path. This is done by allowing it through the territories of several countries to reach its final destination and arrest the perpetrators according to sound judicial procedures. The Iraqi legislator has sought to follow this method, as have the comparative countries in their internal laws in order to eliminate the illegal trafficking in drugs and psychotropic substances.
