Abstract

This study examines the crises faced by Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) with the Children of Israel and how he addressed them in light of the Qur’an through a detailed analytical approach. The research focuses on several key themes:

1.The Crisis of the Enslavement of the Children of Israel and Their Fear of Pharaoh: The study discusses the fear of the Children of Israel of Pharaoh’s oppression and their delayed response to Moses’ call, highlighting how he managed this crisis through spiritual guidance and by reminding them of God’s greatness and His power to grant victory.

2.The Crisis of Veneration among the Children of Israel: The research examines their tendency to excessively venerate certain individuals or symbols, and how Moses (peace be upon him) addressed this by correcting their beliefs and emphasizing that worship is due to God alone, based on Qur’anic verses affirming monotheism and rejecting idolatry.

3.The Crisis of Attachment to Material Life among the Children of Israel**: The study shows their inclination to indulge in worldly pleasures and neglect obedience, and how Moses (peace be upon him) tackled this through spiritual guidance, encouragement of patience and sacrifice, supported by Qur’anic stories illustrating the consequences for those who obey or turn away from God.

4.The Crisis of Misuse of Knowledge among the Children of Israel: The research explores how some of the Children of Israel misused the knowledge and skills God had given them, and how Moses (peace be upon him) addressed this by reminding them of the responsibility that comes with knowledge and its proper use for righteousness, while highlighting the consequences of its misuse.

5.The study concludes that Moses (peace be upon him) faced these crises with profound wisdom, relying on Qur’anic guidance and faith in God, which enabled him to resolve the crises and secure deliverance for himself and his people from oppression and tyranny.
