Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pivotal role of Qur’anic education in consolidating social security by tracing the theoretical concepts and practical models presented in the Holy Qur’an. It seeks to demonstrate that education grounded in Qur’anic values is not merely a rhetorical or exhortative framework, but rather an integrated system that contributes to the development of both the individual and society, through fostering religious awareness and reinforcing ethical principles that regulate human behavior in relation to oneself and others.

The research adopts an analytical–inductive approach that combines educational concepts, religious values, and social contexts as reflected in Qur’anic verses and narratives, with a focus on central themes that represent the foundations of individual and collective security, such as purification and faith, justice and solidarity, chastity and self-restraint. The study shows that these foundations are not confined to theory, but are embodied in practical models illustrated by the Qur’an.

Among these models, the stories of Moses, Joseph, and Sheba emerge as vivid examples that demonstrate how sound educational conduct can lead to stability and security, whereas deviation from these values results in disorder and the loss of blessings. Qur’anic education thus reflects a comprehensive reformative project that reshapes human identity and establishes a social structure built upon cooperation, discipline, and commitment to justice, thereby ensuring societal cohesion in the face of challenges.

The findings conclude that Qur’anic education represents a holistic societal path that transcends individual purification, serving instead as a foundation for rebuilding values and identity. The study emphasizes the necessity of integrating these values into contemporary educational policies and social plans in order to achieve security, stability, and harmony among the components of society.
