Analytical Study of The Detergents Industry In Basra Governorate

The detergent industry is one of the important industries that has a wide market , no nation, regardless of their sects, can do without this industry, which can be produced locally or imported as needed . Many cleaning product factories have worked to compete with each other in terms of product quantity, quality, and competitive prices to attract consumers.Through a field study of detergent manufacturing factories in Basra Governorate, it was found that there are four factories that have obtained a work license from the federation of industries to manufacture detergents.It is the Injazat Al-Fayhaa Company, whose products are known as (Makeen Detergents), which operates with a production capacity of (53,090) tons/year, and the Lujain Detergents Factory, which operates with a production capacity of (16,840) tons/year.In addition to the Al-Moamel detergent factory, which operates with a production capacity of (16,200) tons/year, and the Dur Al-Saad detergent factory, which operates with a production capacity of (10,600) tons/year, the research discussed the historical development of the detergent industry, as well as studying the factors that helped establish the detergent industry in Basra Governorate.Some of the problems encountered in the development of the detergent industry have been addressed , solutions and proposals have been put forward that help their development and growth.
