In this research I concentrated on highlighting the most prominent indications and multiple uses of the verbs which are generated by (Istaf'al) pattern in Al-A'sha ’poetry, as (Istaf'al) pattern was mentioned in Al-A'sha’s poetry in more than (59) verbs, and these verbs conveyed different meanings and indications. Therefore, this research cannot cover this large number of verbs which are derived from the stated pattern. As a reason, I chose verbs with different morphological meanings, and then I highlighted the lexical meaning of each article, as well as the significance of the contextual formula, and various metaphorical prompts and indications it produced. Furthermore, I stood at each article by analyzing its occurrences within the poetic context in which it appeared, as the context adds elements to the formula which, eventually, makes it more dynamic and interactive. Moreover, I explained the effect of the extension in meaning, as it became clear that extension to the verb has a significant role in instructing new connotations that were not present in the abstract verb.
