Abstract

Historical facts and events played an important role in the culture of the poet Mahyar al-Daylami, which varied in its times and places. Moreover, the poet had a detailed knowledge of the details of those events, as he absorbed history and melted it into his mind and poured it into a poetic mold from which he benefited from the lesson and consideration and invested it in service of his poetic purposes. Therefore, we can say that the historical references from facts and events were a stage for the experience of the Mahyari poet, from which the poet selects what he sees as appropriate to enrich his poetic visions that draw the horizons of the present that the poet lived through, and his future visions by reviving the past in a transformative way, which is done through shyness and representation of what history contains of vital data that enriches the present with profound goodness.
