Abstract

The Holy Qur'an represents a fertile field for linguistic studies that seek to uncover the secrets of its rhetoric, due to its unique linguistic texture and miraculous eloquence. From this standpoint, this research sheds light on a subtle grammatical phenomenon, namely, restriction, but rather a comparative study in light of the Qur'anic context. This phenomenon has long aroused the interest of grammarians and rhetoricians alike. The ultimate goal of this study is not merely a grammatical survey, but rather an exploration of the grammatical, semantic, and rhetorical dimensions that this method adds to the Qur'anic text, which contributes to deepening the meaning and strengthening the impact

The Qur'an, the miraculous book of God, does not cite anything except for a profound wisdom, and every letter in it performs an essential function different from the other letter in terms of semantic enrichment, as it raises the level of linguistic miracle of the words of the Holy Qur'an. This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the subtle differences that occur between two tools used in one style: the style of restriction or confinement. By reviewing Qur'anic texts and books of interpretation, and navigating between the opinions of grammarians, I found a significant

difference in the indication of meaning for each tool. We cannot substitute one tool for another, as this leads to a change in meaning. The research begins with this summary, preceded by key words, then the introduction to the research, followed by an introduction to understand some terms in language and terminology, then the study, which came in two sections, followed by the most important results, and finally the conclusion with the sources and references discussed in this research
