This research delves into the pivotal role of educational leadership and management in Iraq's post-conflict reconstruction era, focusing on the challenges and opportunities within the educational system. Amidst the backdrop of rebuilding a nation, the study explores how educational leaders in Iraq navigate the complexities of reforming the educational landscape, emphasizing the integration of global best practices, technological advancements, and inclusive educational policies. Through qualitative analysis and review of existing literature, the research highlights the essential strategies adopted by educational leaders to enhance the quality and accessibility of education. It underscores the significance of collaborative leadership, digital literacy, and equitable learning environments in shaping a resilient and inclusive educational system. The study aims to contribute to the broader discourse on educational reform in post-conflict settings, providing insights into the transformative potential of effective leadership and management in overcoming the barriers to educational development.
This study begins by analyzing the role of educational leadership in the success of educational administration in Iraq within its historical, political and social context, as well as comparing it with some international models in order to identify the most prominent challenges facing educational leaders in Iraq, with a focus on the human aspect within educational institutions. The study also aims to provide an analytical vision that contributes to understanding the educational process and the educational reality in Iraq, and to anticipate its development paths in a way that enhances the effectiveness of the educational system in an environment characterized by instability.
