Abstract

         Ibn Khaldun Is Considered One Of The Most Prominent Muslim Scholars Who Attained A Prominent Position In The East And West And He Received Attention In The Modern Era Beyond And Other Isiamic Historian So What He Wrote About In Terms Of Cognitive Broduction Constituted A Great Library Of Khaldunian Studies As He Was Able To Study The Development Of The Islamic State After He Take In To Account The Emergence Of Families And Statesruling Then Its Downfall Likening The State To A Living Being As It Passes Through The Cycle Of Life From Birth To Death.

Ibn Khaldun is famous for his book "Al-Ibar," a seven-volume work. The first volume is the Muqaddimah, considered a cornerstone of sociology. It includes an introduction to the science of history and six chapters outlining his theory of history. "Al-Ibar" concludes with a chapter titled "Introducing Ibn Khaldun," detailing his lineage, biography, and the events of his time. His methodology is characterized by clarity and precision in organizing topics, as well as breadth and comprehensiveness, relying heavily on historical accounts. Caliph Abu Ja'far al-Mansur worked diligently to plan the city of Baghdad. He focused on designing fortified walls and gates to protect the population from enemies, in addition to constructing the palace and the congregational mosque in the city center. He also established markets and residential quarters, thus providing all the necessities of life. Throughout history, Baghdad became one of the largest cities in the world and a hub for science, literature, culture, and the arts, boasting numerous historical and cultural landmarks and Islamic monuments.
