Abstract

The principle of kindness is one of the fundamental rational principles that has occupied a prominent position in theology and the principles of jurisprudence. It highlights the aspect of divine mercy and justice in dealing with those subject to religious obligations, and reveals the close relationship between reason and legislation. It becomes clear that the principle of kindness represents an important rational and legislative foundation, demonstrating the harmony of reason and Islamic law in understanding God's justice and mercy. Kindness explains the wisdom in legislation and provides humans with the rational and legal motivation to obey and avoid sin.

The importance of studying the principle of kindness is highlighted as a link between reason and scripture, reflecting the profound harmony between divine wisdom and human responsibility. It also contributes to expanding the horizons of understanding regarding the relationship between divine justice and legislative interest. This research aims to clarify the concept of the principle of kindness and its divisions, highlight its impact on rational and legal rulings, and highlight the sublime meanings that embody God's kindness to His servants and His justice in His legislation.

Kindness is a manifestation of God's justice, as it necessitates that God does not burden His servants with what they cannot bear, and that He facilitates for them the means of obedience. The application of this principle demonstrates that reason and divine law are not in conflict, but rather complement each other in serving the ultimate goal of human well-being.
