This research aims to study Al-Ghazi's approach in his book Al-Kawakib Al-Sa'ira (The Traveling Stars) by tracing his style in arranging the biographies, his verification of information and reliable sources, and the extent of his commitment to neutrality and objectivity. It also aims to demonstrate the scientific value of the book and its position among contemporary biographical books.
This research stems from the importance of chronicling biographies and translations, a belief in Al-Ghazi's role in preserving the features of scientific and cultural life in his era, and an attempt to understand the intellectual and methodological backgrounds that shaped the structure of this important work. Al-Ghazi's treatment of biographies in his book Al-Kawakib Al-Sa'ira has aroused interest and questions about explaining and clarifying the method Al-Ghazi followed in selecting the biographies in his book, and the extent of Al-Ghazi's commitment to chronological or thematic sequence in presenting the biographies. It also aims to demonstrate Al-Ghazi's accuracy in documenting information, with the aim of arriving at a clear scientific conception of Al-Ghazi's approach, revealing the features of his scientific personality, and the extent of his contribution to developing writing according to the biographical style in the tenth century AH
