Abstract

       Speech acts are one of the most important linguistic theories in deliberative work, and one of the most important linguistic issues associated with social communication, because they help reach the desired meaning. The researcher used the theory of verbal actions on the commandments of the supreme religious authority of the fighters in the liberation battle against the terrorist organization ISIS.

       Among the reasons for writing the study: The commandments of the supreme reference to the fighters are an important mark of Iraq in its history, as well as in the behavior of the recipient, so it affects their souls, as it consciously used the signal of its commandments with regard to the recipient, thus proving the reference point of Iraq and not limited to a specific sect. Under the theory of verbal verbs, it is considered one of the modern western terms in the framework of modern science, and it is summarized in the framework of science, command and promise, and others.

                The research consists of an introduction, theoretical study, and topics of the theory of verbal actions.
