Abstract

The subject of ancient Greek legal thought is a great importance to researchers in the field of legal systems and legislation, and this importance comes from the success of Greek thought from disclosing some of the legal and political concepts and elements of these concepts, enriched by the human intellect heritage as a source of inspiration continues to everyone who wants to explore the doors of science and knowledge.

We have tried in this research to focus on the law in the ancient Greek thought in Plato, through the show and learn the properties of this thought and the nature of legal philosophy that impact legal knowledge throughout the ages so our study based on the study of legal knowledge and legal environment in which they grew up with and developed the Greek laws.
