Abstract

Recent years have witnessed significant technological transformations that have directly impacted the dynamics of power in the Middle East. This study focuses on examining the effects of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies on international relations within the region, emphasizing how these technologies are utilized to enhance strategic capabilities of states, including security, defense, economic, and political domains. The research relies on secondary data analysis from international reports and academic studies, along with a review of practical examples of AI applications in military and political fields. The study finds that AI has become a pivotal tool in reshaping regional power maps, necessitating the development of integrated strategies to manage these changes sustainably. Moreover, the research indicates that countries capable of integrating advanced technology into their defense and strategic policies will enjoy a relative advantage at both regional and international levels. The importance of this study lies in providing an analytical framework that can assist policymakers in understanding the multifaceted dimensions of AI deployment and its effects on the balance of power in the Middle East.
