Craft Items in Iraq during the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries

Abstract

        That increased activity in Iraqi cities during the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries, the development of productive relations between Craftsmen hand Merchants and peasants, on the other hand, has led to growing importance of Craft items as Socio-Economic Organizations with special moral grounds, protects each craft owners of some other infringement or Encroachment of power over them, and ensure an acceptable level of craft, and prices of their products, and regulates the relationship between the State and the character, and it was natural to include those items more craft classes in Iraqi Society back then Active and productive, and play a role in the cohesion of Society, it was the elders items colored in public events, dignitaries and Princes.                                              

        Craft Organizations and study their activity does not mean reviewing the nature of city life, but it forces necessarily address the nature of State-appointed administrative organs to monitor the activity of these Organizations, negotiating with elders to regulate Economic life including taxes imposed by the Ottoman Empire craft Organizations.
