The rapid development of digital technology has brought about radical changes in various aspects of life, including political communication in the digital age. Digital platforms and social media play an increasingly important role in shaping public opinion, disseminating political messages, and strengthening the relationship between politicians and voters. This research aims to study the dynamics of political communication in the digital age by highlighting the various challenges and opportunities that arise through a qualitative approach. It also analyzes different cases related to the use of social media in political campaigns and its impact on the democratic process, its repercussions on social polarization, and the spread of misinformation. The research findings show that while digital technology accelerates the dissemination of political information and enables broader public participation in political discourse, it also raises significant challenges. One of the most prominent of these challenges is the rapid and uncontrolled spread of misinformation, which can affect the integrity of the political process and undermine public trust in political institutions. The research consists of an introduction, a main body, and a conclusion. The main body comprises three sections and several subsections, divided as follows: The first section is titled "Political Communication: Its Concept and Functions," with two subsections: Subsection 1: "Political Communication: Its Concept and Functions," and Subsection 2: "Functions of Political Communication." The second section is titled "The Digital Age: Between Definition and Dimensions," with two subsections: Subsection 1: "Defining the Concept of the Digital Age," and Subsection 2: "Dimensions of the Digital Age." The third section is titled "Election Campaigns in the United States of America as a Model of Political Communication in the Digital Age," with the following subsections: Subsection 1: "Opportunities for Digital Political Communication in Election Campaigns," Subsection 2: "Challenges of Digital Political Communication in Election Campaigns," and Subsection 3: "Election Campaigns in the United States of America and How to Use Digital Political Communication."
