The effect of the numbered heads strategy on developing reflective thinking among first-year intermediate school students in the English language subject

The current research aims to investigate the effectiveness of Kolb’s model in developing deep comprehension skills among fourth-grade primary school students in the English language subject. The researcher adopted an experimental design with two equal groups. The research sample consisted of (56) students, with (28) students in each group. To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher prepared a test for deep comprehension skills, and the researcher verified its validity, discrimination, and reliability, which reached (0.886), In its final form, it consists of (30) thematic items (multiple choice), and after processing the data statistically using the SPSS statistical package system, the results showed the superiority of the experimental group that studied using the Kolb model over the control group that studied using the usual method.References
