Abstract

There is no doubt that the Holy Qur’an is, in the first place, a book of guidance and a constitution for a good life for all humanity, and its contents were collected to outline a good life and address social issues so that they may be happy in this world and the hereafter. In many of its verses, the Holy Qur’an called for a radical and comprehensive reform of society, so that through this reform society would preserve its entity and its individuals. Since human meeting is of great necessity in this life, the Holy Qur’an came as a comprehensive of the foundations of this social reform, since it began descending on the heart of the beloved Muhammad. (PBUH) According to the facts and events, the social ties between the members of society have varied and multiplied, and the Islamic religion has paid great attention to these ties, which will elevate society in various areas of life. The call of the Qur’an came through a number of explicit verses, and in various areas of life. And in accordance with the divine rule embodied in the Almighty’s saying: And We do not send the messengers except as bringers of good tidings and as warners. So whoever believes and does righteousness - they will have no fear, nor will they grieve (Al-An’am: 48). In this research, we tried to answer the main question, which is how the social impact of contemporary interpreters is manifested in their interpretations. We also discussed the lives and methodology of contemporary interpreters, and then addressed their opinions and explained their impact on the social aspect through their interpretation of the verses in this regard. We also found that some were influenced by the reality of life, influential and enlightening in their interpretation, and were not neutral in expressing their opinions on the social issue. Yes. Some results also indicate that most contemporary interpreters had influences and impressions that appeared in their interpretations in the social field, emanating from their coexistence with reality, and from the expressive possibilities that helped them in interpreting the verses.
