This research represents an attempt to monitor the manifestations of globalization in the Intermediate Dictionary, which is considered one of the most important contemporary Arabic dictionaries. Globalization has had a positive impact on it, representing an example of Arabic's openness to the language of the era and its attempt to adapt to it and keep pace with it. This has become clear through the Cairo Academy of Arabic Language's establishment of the Arabicized, modern, and foreign words in the dictionary. The research has studied these ideas through two sections, the first of which presents the concept of globalization. The concept of the dictionary, the composition of the intermediate dictionary, its methodology, and its purpose are explained. In the second section, we discussed the manifestations of globalization in the dictionary by monitoring examples of foreign, Arabized, and modern words. The research adopted the descriptive and analytical approach, which monitored and analyzed the phenomenon under study, demonstrating its role in explaining the impact of globalization on this dictionary. The research concluded that the impact of globalization on the intermediate dictionary was a positive one, demonstrating the flexibility of Arabic and its ability to keep pace with the times.
