Research Abstract: The aim of the research is to identify the degree of student involvement in the book of the history of Arab-Islamic civilization for the fourth grade of literature, and to achieve the goal of the research used Rumi's method to calculate the participation n not the researcher to analyze the history book and collect data on the method of Rumi and calculate frequencies and percentages and the use of equations contained in the method The results resulted and can be described as unacceptable if measured by the criteria that have been set by the owner of the method and the result of the participation of texts (0.33%) and the involvement of activities Low reported (0.17%) and then the result of the involvement of questions amounted to (0.04%), as recommended by the research in the light of the results, including the attention of the designers of the curricula bald on the method of Rumi in finding a balance between the use of facts and definitions and increase topics that urge thinking, analysis and reflection and reduce conclusions and explicit generalizations.
