Abstract

The investigation of Dr. Muhammad Kazem al-Bakaa is one of the most important investigations of Sibawayh's book. To him in this study, and therefore his realization of the book represents the practical application of what he has reached in that study, and from here the research is based on tracking the opinions of Dr. Muhammad Kazem al-Bakaa and his selection criterion for texts from manuscripts, and is based on studying the opinions that violated other investigations, such as the Bulaq edition, and the investigation of Dr. Abdul Salam Muhammad Harun, and so on. The research is divided into two parts: the first section: it studies its grammatical and methodological choices. The research in this study is limited to the grammatical chapters, which are the first four parts of Sibawayh's book, according to Dr. Muhammad Kazem al-Bakaa As a request for brevity, and what is commensurate with the nature of the research. Dr. Muhammad Kazim al-Bakka' frequently relies on the isolated opinions of some grammarians to support his idea that the book is based on a systematic classification and precise categorization. This appears to be more of a methodological than a purely grammatical perspective. In light of result (2), Dr. Muhammad Kazim al-Bakka' held several grammatical opinions that contradicted the consensus of grammarians. While Dr. Muhammad Kazim al-Bakka' corrected many errors, distortions, and omissions in his edition of the book, he himself fell into the same trap, which the researcher attributed to typographical mistakes.

The research recorded numerous errors in Dr. Muhammad Kazim al-Bakka's work, whether related to referencing, scholarship, or methodology. This is explained by the researcher in footnote (47) and paragraph (8).
