Abstract

The research deals with Mandaean in two sections, the first in which we dealt with the linguistic concept of Mandaean and (Sabeans), as well as the location of the Mandaean language among the Semitic languages ​​with illustrative tables for this language showing the Mandaean line between the lines of the different Semitic languages, while the second topic we dealt with the MandaeanSabeans and their mention in the Holy Quran and the sites of mention And to clarify those verses, as we dealt with their most important religious books and hymns and an explanation of some texts written in the Mandaean language with the translation set for them. For this region and its inhabitants and evidence of its fertility and the richness of its people in various religions, the research included some appendices that included pictures of the Mandaean sect as they performed their religious rituals and their various customs in this field, and it was found that their special dress on these religious and other occasions, the SabeanMandaeans have formed throughout history an important element of the elements Social cross-fertilization in Mesopotamia, and it is not easy for us to understand this period A story about the history of the Sabean-Mandaean sect in Iraq and the region, due to the depth of this history, as well as for several reasons in addition to what I mentioned earlier.
