The Arabic language plays a pivotal and fundamental role in preserving the heritage of the Arab nation from disappearance and fragmentation. Therefore, the Arabic language is more deserving of attention than any other language; because it is the language of the revealed Holy Quran, and one of the greatest links, as it has emerged from its narrow scope and reached millions of people after those peoples were guided to Islam, so it became necessary for them to learn the language of the Holy Quran, to recognize its miracle and the subtlety of its teachings. The Holy Quran is considered a fence for our language, preserving it from extinction, protecting it from decay, and giving it sweetness in expression and strength in logic, so its words were refined and its styles were improved. Therefore, taking care of it, preserving it, and the necessity of learning and teaching it is the duty of all its children, especially those who have the upper hand in interpreting the Holy Quran. It has been proven that the Holy Quran has an apparent and an inner meaning, as Imam Ali (peace be upon him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him and his family) say: There is no verse in the Quran that does not have an apparent and an inner meaning, and there is no letter that does not have an interpretation (And none knows its interpretation except Allah and those firmly rooted in knowledge) and those firmly rooted are the family of Muhammad (may Allah's prayers and peace be upon them all). The research begins with defining the term "the inner meaning of the Quran", which represents the main starting point for the miracle of the Quran, and for this reason the inner meaning of the Holy Quran is an essential topic. Because it has attracted the attention of many scholars and religious men, as the Qur’anic discourses are distinguished by their conventional language that the human mind can comprehend, in addition to the fact that they include an irrational language that may surpass the human mind, therefore the interpreters resorted to understanding the inner meaning of the Holy Qur’an in an attempt to understand, comprehend and interpret the Qur’anic texts and their miracles. From this standpoint, the research studies and learns the theories and hypotheses of interpreting the inner meaning of the Holy Qur’an to know the apparent and inner meaning of the Qur’an and to study the subject from all its aspects and sides. The researcher concludes that despite the existence of some differences between scholars and interpreters in many aspects within the study of this field of Qur’anic sciences, there is no disagreement among most of them that the Holy Qur’an has an inner meaning that is consistent with its appearance.References
