Abstract

Achieving societal peace has countless positive repercussions, as it brings abundant goodness to the individual and society alike. It is one of the reasons for the stability and progress of society and achieving a comfortable living for the people of society. Accordingly, the research dealt with ways to achieve societal peace within the framework of social organization, in other words, addressing the units. Social services that provide various services and to which individuals belong, whether of their own free will or automatically, constitute one of its members, and through the functions performed by those units, societal peace is achieved. We have explained the role of those social units in achieving societal peace by analyzing the functions that they perform and how those functions contribute to achieving Societal peace. Accordingly, the research included several topics in which we addressed the conceptual framework of the research, and then we presented the forms of social organization and what functions they perform and their dimensions in societal peace. These forms are the family, the clan, and religious organizations such as the endowment, religious authorities, civil society organizations, and the state. Finally, we presented A set of suggestions and recommendations. Disseminating the culture of democracy and human rights, and intensifying and unifying efforts to combat the culture of violence and terrorism, and not limiting efforts to security confrontations. Educating political parties and factions about the importance of resorting to internal debate and dialogue instead of relying on foreign countries to support individuals in society.
